Wow! I am so happy that we chose Mountain Lake Lodge for our weekend get a way. What a BEAUTIFUL lodge. The room was very clean, spacious, and absolutely adorable. The view of Flathead Lake is breathtaking. The pool and hot tub are open 24/7 which is SUCH an awesome perk. The lady who checked us in was so pleasant and welcoming. I would highly recommend this lodge.
The staff here is so friendly. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and helpful. The rooms are very "lodger"... If you've stayed in other lodges at ski resorts and such you know what I mean. Very comfortable and clean. The views are great and the pool/hot tubs are top notch. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing place to chill between your Montana adventures. If you make online reservations, don't believe them! Call and verify far in advance.
Facility is ok. Kid and pet friendly if that's your thing. But don't trust reservations. Reserved their largest suite for 7 nights. Got there and found I'd been switched to a standard room without notice. Had I known the suite wasn't available I would have made other plans. But by the time I got there there were no other local options. They said they'd give me a 10% discount but the bill looks wrong and I'll be taking that up with them. The rate on the bill doesn't match my reservation confirmation either. Very unhappy with the way things were handled. Would not go back. Restaurants are good, views are nice. But with barking dogs and lots of kids, it wasn't the place for a quiet getaway.
This place is a hidden gem that has so much to offer. The views from our room were breathtaking. The staff was helpful and courteous. Stay here. You won't be disappointed.
