Captain Bill is very knowledgeable of the whole lake area and can speak about glaciers for hours!
* the boat Dud wanted to be call captain, I have many word for him but he was far from that.
* boat would not start up after we got to the island. But after Gilligan did some banging under the hood it started again?

He is very familiar with all the animals on Wildhorse Island and can spot them before anyone on the boat can.

His boat is safe and inspected annually by the USCG.
Found out that from Bigfork people that are experience was the norm.

We had an amazing experience. Weren't sure after the reviews but after our 6+ hour trip...are confident the previous negative reviews were likely bogus or extreme city slickers. Captain Bill was very attentive to our comfort level when the wind created some choppy water. (4th of July week..so extra amateur boat traffic was on the lake) His knowlege was welcomed and attention to boating safety & professionalism was exemplary. Our trip was perfect and we really enjoyed the wildlife at wild horse island. So thankful we took this trip and highly recommend it!
This was a relaxing, beautiful way to see the lake. Captain Bill was very informative and saw some amazing wildlife! Totally worth the money!
