This is the worst sushi experience my family and I have ever had. The water was warm, the fish was warm. The toddlers did not receive their food for two hours. We had to ask several times for the kid's food. It was extremely loud and we had to yell across the table to have a conversation. The sushi options were over the top with extra sauces but couldn't cover up the poor quality. This is the only sushi restaurant where each item was brought out 1 at a time over a 2 hour period...and small children got fed last. I will never, ever come back and will make it my mission to tell everyone I can how horrible it was. Horrible.
Had an extremely poor take-out experience. After giving more time than requested (over an hour), we showed up and we're told that we'd have to wait at least another 45 minutes for our order. Additionally the hostess was rude and unapologetic for the delay. Our experience was particularly regrettable because the sushi was actually pretty good, the customer service really ruined the experience, however.
We took a seat at the bar and the servers were great.
It can get pretty busy and so patience may be in order at times, but once you get your food all that goes away. Amazing place!!!
Definitely a great experience. The menu is very unique, completely different than most sushi places but they had awesome rolls. Saketome is my favorite sushi place in the Flathead Valley.
For the most part the food was good but.... first I was told to seat myself at one of the two bars but then took 10min to be even acknowledged then got a water silently with still no greeting and then after asking if anyone worked here then I got a menu. Once I placed my order the service was at least fairly quick and food was good. All the plates were very hot which for one of my rolls that had been seared that is great but for the rest of my beautiful rolls that are intended to fresh and cold the hot plates caused the freshness to disappear and just another roll nothing special. Btw my biggest complaint when it comes to sushi is when the fish is to be served cold and it's room temp or higher!
By far the best Sushi in the Flathead Valley. Please try the "For the halibut", it's not on the current menu but it's excellent. The Bigfork Bomb! Yum!
